Passat Roof Rack Car Passat Brake Fluid Issue?

Car Passat Brake Fluid issue? - passat roof rack

Hello everyone
Published a problem with brake fluid leak in my weekend car is a very slow leak, but the Council was to give your opinion! I have today and in the garage, said that the brakes are excellent, no signs of leakage in the cylinders or the master cylinder is all excellent
They have not said they believe the May-clutch on my car is the hydraulic clutch and therefore the same fluid moves, but after saying that its very slow leak of fluid was (a little darker, and some amount is also clear, a Another sign of the coupling apparently), it is best left alone and simply take now, if the (low approximately every 4 months) who said they found the leak s could 'act to Neath under the car (remove what appears to be the right hand), and it would be very costly if the clutch works smoothly and does not see as advantageous to do so.
What thoughts does it set? Gentlemen, I have my deposit if the liquid is almost used up and he goes, what he said to keep an eye on the level and to maintain complete.

The concern I have is thatbefore leak whch do not know what she said, it would be hard to find, but could do more damage, that cause dripping on the engine belt or worse? Is it possible I did not know the brake and clutch the same site or assume that this is true?

Any advice would be appreciated, it is my local garage and had my car for so many years I trust them and do not want a VW, as they would be charged through the roof, but the same note, have an accident.

The car is a VW Passat TDI 2002,1.9

Thank you very much
Steve

I noticed in your question, and I wonder whether you have a leak at all. As the pads wear on, the liquid is reduced in the reservoir. Likewise, if you rise fit new brake pads, the height. This is due to the volume of the cylinders that are available to be moved as the piston, to take the wear pads.

Therefore, it is only natural that there is a decrease in the time of filing of the brakes. What he could not distinguish his last position was the delay between the exit of the liquid in the tank. They talk about 4 months in office - I think it is only through the fall due to normal wear of brake pads.

I am a little said in the garage concerned, it can clutch hydraulic fluid. LESS the reservoir is losing fluid. You need two tanks, one for brakes and one for the clutch. Yes, the liquid that is placed on them is generally the same.

If liquid leaking into the engine, I think it's a small problem that has nothing to fear. Note, however, thatBrake fluid is a paint remover to prevent very good - around the body.

I do not know who runs on a belt or something like that at all - then it would be inappropriate to disturb it.

Clutch uses the same fluid reservoir. Tho has its own master cylinder and slave cylinder. If not, the clips can flow, there could be one of the lines, master cylinders, slave cylinders, brake master cylinder, so that a proper investigation, but unfortunately this is the best way to do so. The dealer has a wind pressure that be of some use to find the leak. Pressure on the brake fluid as a whole, including the clutch.

Some points of interest, if there is a leak, then there is a possibility of air entering the system. It is never good, especially when it's the only one who keeps hitting the back of the vehicle ahead. If you is your flight in the clutch system, the possibility that you stay away satisfied with your bellhousing cause of your clutch plate fluid (county, if the slave cylinder begins to secrete can). This will ultimately prevent the hard to handle and can be only a minor leak, a lot bigger in a clutch in the repair. I do not think this is somethingonly be postponed.
